Training Report - Mt.Teine 2

Dr.K and Tesseract did a Mt.Teine mountain time trial. The temperature was around 10 degrees Celsius below zero at the aerial cableway station. However, as sun light was stronger than the midwinter, it was warm.


The time trial start point during the winter (the start during the summer is the National Route 5). As you see, the road condition was not so good at the start point.


We don't have any photo of the time trial. The photos below are those of interval training after the time trial. And after the interval, we lunched at the rest house in the middle of the descent at the skiing resort.


This year, we had more snow than normal years. The snow corridor along the road implies that.




During the descent, we tried to pass not snowremoved road. However, as the snow was too deep as you see on the photo below although there was a well-trodden part (which was too narrow), our bikes were stuck into the snow, therefore we gave up this route. Therefore. we continued to descend on the normal road.
