Training Report - Mt.Teine 10Dr.K and Tesseract participated in this training. It was minus 14 degrees Celsius at the aerial cableway station. It was a cold day. We climbed up to 490m talking together and Tesseract accelerated a little at this point. Tesseract arrived first to the station. 2 minutes 40 seconds later, Dr.K arrived. In the downhill, as usual, Tesseract is descending much faster than Dr.K. He is good at the straight but not good at curves. He has to slow down in corners even he uses the power slide. By the way, the dismond dust (ice prisms) falling from the sky is beautiful. You can see it only when the temperature is lower than minus 10 degrees Celsius. Video: Dr.K who has learnt how to do the power slide in the last training (cf. Kenashi Pass 16) is passing the corners much faster than before. Moreover, he improved his power slide practicing a high revolution. Using high revolution pedaling, you can reduce the interval of skidding. That makes easier to manoeuvre the bike. Video: Although Dr.K improved his cornering, Tesseract was much faster in the straight. So Tesseract won this descent with a huge gap. |
