Training Report - Niseko-Goshiki Pass 5K participated in this training. It was minus 12 degrees Celsius at the Goshiki Hot Springs. Travelled distance: 19km At the beginning of the training, the blizzard was strong. However, hard winds and strong snowfall ceased soon. Snow depth has obviously increased in comparison with the training Niseko 4 (report is not uploaded yet) which has taken place 11 days ago. The road was snow removed but snowploghs just moved the snow aside. So the road became narrow. It was difficut for automobiles to pass each other.
The training commences at the Goshiki Hot springs.

As it snows a lot in this region, normal snowplough can't do the job.
So usually snow blowers equipped with special tool do the snowremoval job.
