Training Report - Mt.Tokachidake (Mt.Tokachi) 24
K participated in this training.
It was minus 15 degrees Celsius at the Mt.Tokachidake Hot Springs.
The travelled distance was 27km.
We are still in November.
But it's a little cold for this period of year because of the radiative cooling.
The training began at 6 in the morning. The snow removing operation was just ongoing. Mt.Tokachidake (Mt.Tokachi). Mt.Furanodake (Mt.Furano) and the moon. Clounds are forming at the summit of the Mt.Furanodake. It's dawning. Dawn of the Mt.Sandan. Mt.Tokachidake. Mt.Kamihorokamettoku. Mt.Tokachidake. The sun began to light the Furano Basin. The Mt.Furanodake is waking out of sleep. Passing the altitude of 1000m, he enters the alpine section. The road surface condition is pretty good as it was just snow removed although the snow is not well compacted because no car has passed after the snow removal. Clouds are forming at the summit of the Mt.Furanodake. The Furano Basin is partially covered with field of clouds. At the summit of the route: the Mt.Tokachidake Hot Springs of which the altitude is 1280m, he did sprint training to the summit several times. Preparing for the descent. He descends at the altitude of 1050m. He wears new ski goggls. He made a U-turn at the altitude of 1050m and climbed again to the summit. The mirror we had talked about (cf. Mt.Tokachidake 23). He did sprint trainig several times again at the summit with some intervals. Clouds once covered completely the southern sky but afterwards dissipated a little. After doing sprint training at the summit several times, he descended to the foot of the mountain. |
