Training Report - Furano 3
K participated in this training.
It was minus 18 degrees Celsius in Furano.
The travelled distance was 11km.
The temperature reached minus 20 degrees Celsius during the midnight because of the radiative cooling
but it augmented a little before the dawn.
He wears the ski goggles with heating lenses (cf. Bifuka Pass).
The ski goggles with heating lenses do not get fogged even in this temperature. Usually riding on the flat road in this temperature, the ski goggles get fogged and frozen easily before the sunrise if you wear face cover (cf. Oyafuru 24). Because of the radiative cooling, the radiation fog is covering the surface. Hard rime is beautiful. The radiation fog is dissipating. Now you can see the Mt.Furanodake (Mt.Furano) through the interstice of the fog. You can't see on the picture but diamond dust is falling from the sky. Entering the urban district of Furano. |
